Hot Tuna is an American blues band founded originally founded as a Jefferson Airplane side project in 1969. While the band has had an amazing amount of lineup changes throughout its history, Hot Tuna has always been the project of bassist Jack Casady and guitarist Jorma Kaukonen. Jefferson Airplane blew up in the early 70s, but Jack and Jorma decided to focus on Hot Tuna, eventually leaving Airplane in 72. This vintage two-sided Hot Tuna tee, in excellent condition, features a great illustration of Cassady and Kaukonen and the front and a cool logo with their faces built in on the back.Ā
