The band broke through to the mainstream with their last album,Ā Siamese Dream, and only further cemented their status. The double-album featured smash hits like "Tonight, Tonight," "Bullet With Butterfly Wings," and "1979" and saw guitarist and singer Billy Corgan writing some of his catchiest songs yet.
