Vintage War Hungry "Peace" T-Shirt
War Hungry are a hardcore band from Wilkes-Barre, PA. They were founded in 2004 and underwent many lineup changes in those early years, finding their stylistic footing while finding a consistent and steady band. But two members were always there: singer Hoodrack and drummer Kev Mook. They led the band from demos to a downtuned 7" on 1917 and eventually when they found guitarist Arthur Rizk they became a serious heavy metal-inspired, synth-laden hardcore group who put out one of the best records of the era. While the early era of Wungy had jokes, like werewolf masks and computer-voice intros, they were also serious about their music. This vintage War Hungry shirt, in deadstock condition, is from the era when they released their first 7" on Brain Grenade Records in 2006.
