West Virginia University is a public university located in Morgantown, WV founded in 1867. The school began as the Agricultural College Of West Virginia but changed to the WVU we know today shortly thereafter in 1868. WVU is divided into 150 schools, each with their own specialities. They have robust graduate and undergraduate programs to serve the large student body. And, of course, they are also home to the Mountaineers, their Division I NCAA athletic teams. They have found success in football, rifle shooting, and basketball.
